We are pleased to inform you that all DFDS Seaways vessels conform to highest safety standards and regulations, including the SOLAS requirements (An International convention concerning safety of life at sea).
Our crew are fully trained in all emergency procedures, and in the unlikely event of an emergency, our crew will immediately instigate the necessary safety routines.
At every departure, safety regulations are presented over the loudspeakers. In your cabin you will find more information and all relevant places on board. Brochures and boards give information about safety matters. You are also welcome to inquire for any further information from our cabin assistants.

A new code of safety has been introduced in all ports, which came into effect on 1st July 2004 which requires routine security checks of passengers, luggage and vehicles.
All passengers must have valid identification documents available prior to embarkation, which should be shown on request.
