6.1 Amendments to a Standard Fare
If a passenger wishes to amend departure date, destination, number of participants or the like after a definite booking, such amendments can be made subject to payment of an administration fee of 10 % of the difference in the total fare arisen from the amendments, but minimum EUR 30.00 per reservation, provided, however, that the amendments is made online within 40 days prior to departure and that the necessary booking options are available. The fee does not apply if the value of a passenger’s amended booking exceeds the value of the original booking. Additional expenses due to the amendments shall, however, be paid. Any amendments to a standard fare, except standard fares/Full flex tickets, made less than 40 days prior to departure is treated by DFDS Seaways as a partial cancellation of the standard fare. This may effect the passenger’s payment of cancellation charges, deposit etc. in accordance with the applicable cancellation rules, cf. item 5-5.2.
Amendments made to standard fares/Full flex tickets less than 40 days prior to departure and until 12 noon on the departure date are accepted against payment of an administration fee of EUR 30.00 per booking, unless the total fare is increased.
