Going fro​​m Copenhagen airport to City center​

By metro to Nørreport​ station

The metro station at Copenhagen airport is located in the end of terminal 3.
Take the escalator or elevator up to 2nd floor.
All metro trains go in the same direction from the airport (M2 line to Vanløse Station) - so you do not have to worry about getting on the wrong train.
The trains run with 4 - 6 minutes intervals during the day and evening.
During the night the train runs every 15 - 20 minutes. 
It will take you 13 minutes to get to Nørreport Station (city center) from the airport.   ​

Metro and train tickets (Oresund- and DSB trains) may be purchased from ticket machines and from the train ticket sales counters in terminal 3.
Please note that the machines only accept coins and credit cards, not notes.
You will need a ticket for 3 zones from airport to city center. Minimum number of zones is always 2.​

From Nørreport you can take the DFDS transfer bus to the terminal

From Copenhagen​ Airport to city center - Other options

By train

The train platforms with trains bound for Copenhagen central station and Nørreport station are located in the terminal 3 building - Take the elevator or escalator down to floor -1 and train platform 2.
Arriving at another terminal? - You can take a free shuttle bus from terminal 1 to terminal 3, which will take 5 minutes.
Trains bound for Copenhagen central station (København H) and Nørreport Station run every 10 minutes during the day.
During the night the trains run 1 - 3 times an hour. Check the monitors for departure times.

Train tickets 

You will need to buy a zone ticket for 3 zones - price 36 DKK.
Train tickets ​​may be purchased from ticket machines and the DSB ticket sales counters, located in terminal 3.
​​Please note that the machines only accept coins and credit cards, not notes.
Train tickets can be used on Metro and bus in the valid time period (60 - 90 minutes - check your ticket)

By taxi

Upon arrival at Copenhagen airport, Kastrup: There are taxis outside the arrival hall.
It takes about 20 min to get to central Copenhagen and the terminal, by taxi. You can always order your taxi on telephone: (+45) 35 35 35 35

There is a DFDS transfer bus departing from the city center near Nørreport station.

How to buy a DFDS transfer bus ticket

Price: EUR 3  per person 
Pre-purchase your ticket in the online booking flow when booking your cruise.
Contact Customer Service on phone: (DK) +45 33 42 30 10.

Or purchase it in the Guest Service center on board. ​

Please note: It is not possible to buy a ticket on the bus. 
Please show your boarding card, booking confirmation or bus ticket bought in Guest Service center when boarding the transfer bus.​

Going to Copenhagen c​ity center from DFDS terminal​

To Nørreport area 

It's easy and convenient to take the DFDS transfer bus to Copenhagen city center (Nørreport Station area) from the terminal.
The bus stops at Øster Voldgade 2C - See map below. From here you are approx. 10 minutes by foot from Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn. 

Information

The transfer bus stop at the terminal is located to the right (10 m) outside the terminal building, when standing in front, with your back facing terminal building. 
Travel time 10 min.
Please show your boarding card (Marked DFDS shuttle bus), printed booking confirmation or bus ticket purchased in Guest Service center.

Other options - Going from terminal to city center

By transfer bus to Tivoli/Axeltorv (Please note, service only available until March 25 2017)

There is another transfer bus from the terminal to the Tivoli entrance/Axeltorv.
Tickets can only be purchased in advance, online.
Please note: One way only.

Monday - Sunday: 10.15
The buses are marked ‘DFDS Tivoli/Axeltorv’
You find them about 50 m to the right when you exit the terminal.

There are two taxi lanes in front of the DFDS Copenhagen terminal building.
